Muhammad Al Fatih conquered Constantinople. He was a dreamer

On this day (29 May, 1453) Fatih Sultan Mehmed II (Muhammad Al Fatih), conquered #Constantinople.

The future belongs to the dreamers. Those who dream, smell and touch the reality of something before it happens. Those whose belief in their vision leads them to sacrifice all in order to achieve it. Whilst others see them as hopeless dreamers, their belief in their vision leads them to be determined and strive against all odds in order to achieve it.

They become driven, as if an engine is in their body and the fire inside it was lighted so there is an energy from within which hardship, ridicule and obstacles cannot stop.

Muhammad Al Fatih was one such person. The vision was the hadith of the Prophet (alayhi salam) giving good news that Muslims will one day conquer Constantinople for Islam. It burned in him, drove him, inspired him to sacrifice, plan, strategize and by the Help of Allah (swt) he achieved that victory and opened Constantinople.

Today, we dream and believe in a future where the Islamic Khilafah state is re-established in the Muslim lands. That the Khilafah’s army will overcome the Zionist entity and liberate #Palestine. That Muslim countries become united under this new Khilafah state over time and that their rulers and borders between Muslims are removed and confined to history. That the Islamic society in the Khilafah again becomes the example for non-Muslims all over the world. For people looking for a model of justice, racial harmony, an end to poverty, an end to sexual exploitation and all the other bitter fruits of the world currently suffers under capitalism and secularism.

Like Muhammad Al Fatih, our dream must be grounded in the promise of Allah (swt) and His Prophet (alayhi salam). A strong belief that the ummah will achieve all this, insha’Allah. Not because of our brilliance or our efforts, but because Allah (swt) has promised it and His Will cannot be opposed. May we be those who dream big – as Islam teaches us and be those who strive for Islam’s victory – as part of our worship of Allah (swt). May the Islamic vision of a better tomorrow for the world - when the #Khilafah returns - be something that continues to inspire us such that we work for the cause of Islam by the return of the Khilafah Rashidah.

May Allah (swt) accept the efforts of Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih, grant him a high place in Jannah and make the land of #Istanbul once again be part of the Khilafah Rashidah that is re-established soon, inshaAllah. Ameen.

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمَا ٱسْتَخْلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى ٱرْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِى لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِى شَيْـًٔا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ

Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient. [Sura An-Nur 24:55]
