Ronaldo and the Muslim Ummah

I like him. Ronaldo is a brilliant individual player but he alone couldn’t save #Portugal last night. He is one man and needed the entire team (in their different positions) to play together at their best in order to beat Belgium in Euro2020.

Likewise, the Muslim ummah has brilliant individuals who are scholars, Imams, teachers, soldiers, nurses, military strategists, economists, farmers, …. but it is only together that we are able to create real change in our communities or in the world. Don't work for change as an individual. Reach out and work with others. Even the Prophet (alayhi salam) worked with the Sahaba (radiAllahu anhum) when seeking to create change in society and he finally succeeded in establishing the the Islamic state in Madina, the first Islamic society.
