Resolve of the Ummah should be a Call to Action for Muslim Armies

Demonstrators in Jordan call army to move and save Gaza

In the heart of Egypt, amidst the tumult of protest, voices rose in unison, denouncing not only the corruption within but also the external oppressors. "Our leaders, you cowards!" echoed through the streets, intertwined with cries of solidarity for Palestine and condemnation of Zionist aggression. The indignation was palpable, fuelled by the shared pain of an Ummah witnessing the suffering of its brethren.

In recent events echoing across the globe, the resolute voice of the Ummah, the collective body of Muslims worldwide, has reverberated with a unified demand for action.

From the streets of Egypt to the corridors of power in Jordan, from the protests in London to the fervour in Turkey, the cry for liberation and solidarity has reached a crescendo. It's a call not just for words but for deeds, particularly from the armies of the Muslim world.

Simultaneously, in Jordan, the anger manifested in the storming of the Israeli embassy, a symbolic act of defiance against occupation and injustice. Meanwhile, across continents, from London to Turkey, the outcry resonated, carrying the weight of centuries of oppression and resilience.

The overarching theme is clear: the Ummah is united in its demand for action, particularly from its military forces. The burden of Gaza, a symbol of ongoing occupation, weighs heavily on the conscience of every Muslim. It's a burden that cannot be shouldered by rhetoric alone; it demands tangible intervention to alleviate the suffering of the oppressed.

To the brave amongst the Muslim armies, your duty transcends mere obligation; it is a sacred mandate ordained by the Divine. Know that you stand not alone but fortified by the unwavering support of 1.9 billion people, a testament to the sanctity of your cause. Let not the fear of material loss deter you, for in the eyes of Allah, true wealth resides in righteousness, and genuine power in the pursuit of justice.

Reflect upon history, where noble deeds echo throughout eternity. Embrace the plea of the Ummah, for therein lies your path to salvation. To turn a deaf ear to this call is to court not just temporal disgrace but eternal remorse.

Arise, oh champions of righteousness! Let the call of millions reverberate within your very souls. Your honour is not found in idleness but in resolute action. Stand tall as the guardians of the blessed land, the defenders of the oppressed, and the bearers of truth. In fulfilling this sacred duty, you honour not only humanity but also your covenant with Allah.

In light of the ongoing plight of Gaza burdening the Ummah, the responsibility to act falls squarely upon the shoulders of Muslim armies. This imperative arises not only from a desire to uphold honour but also from a deep-seated commitment to fulfilling the command of Allah.

"O you who have believed, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered." Surah Al-Anfal (8:24)

📖 Ayah and Hadith

People of Gaza remind me of this when dealing with their loss.

Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) who said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and we will not say except what pleases our Lord, O Ibrahim ! Indeed we are grieved by your separation.” [Bukhari]

“إِنَّ الْعَيْنَ تَدْمَعُ، وَالْقَلْبَ يَحْزَنُ، وَلاَ نَقُولُ إِلاَّ مَا يَرْضَى رَبُّنَا، وَإِنَّا بِفِرَاقِكَ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ لَمَحْزُونُونَ”
