Surprise Dawah At The Bus Stop
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
I was walking to the pharmacy to get some medicine for my cold and I suddenly heard the Qur’an near this busy north London bus stop.
Two brothers had set up a dawah stall and were handing out copies of English translations of the Qur’an.
SubhanAllah, what a pleasant surprise. A Muslim brother passing by had joined them and was in a discussion with a young non-Muslim man.
The brothers said they have this dawah stall once a month. We exchanged numbers and I asked them to let me know when they are coming because there are other local brothers who can come and help inshaAllah.

📖 Ayah and Hadith
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱلْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ
"Shaytan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality” [Sura Al-Baqarah 2:268]
Regarding this verse, Ibn Al-Jawzi said “So whoever obeys him, he forsakes him, diverts him from true guidance and opens the doors to misguidance and ignominy in his heart” [Bustan al-Wa’izin]

The author gathers commentaries (tafseer) from At-Tabari, Al-Baghawi, Ibn Al-Jawzi, Al-Qurtubi, Ibn Kathir, Al-Alusi, Az-Zamakhshari, As-Sa’di and many others.
Each verse of Al-Fatiha is covered as a chapter bringing together different commentaries and Prophetic ahadith related to the verse.
